What it does

App Lock lets you put a PIN or biometric gate in front of any other app on your phone — social media, banking, messaging, or anything you want to keep private when you hand your device to someone else. Set it up once, choose the apps to protect, and from then on those apps will ask for your fingerprint, face, or PIN before they open. Everything is enforced on-device, so Carbide never sees which apps you use or what you do inside them. How to use the App Lock

Open Carbide and tap App Lock from the Security category.
Grant the usage-access permission when prompted — this lets the tool detect when a locked app is opened.
Tap the toggle next to each app you want to protect to enable the lock.
Set your PIN or confirm biometric unlock as your authentication method.
That's it — the next time anyone opens a locked app, they will be asked to authenticate first.
