How to use the Currency Converter

1. Open the Currency Converter in Carbide.
2. Select the currency you're converting from (e.g. USD) in the first selector.
3. Select the currency you want to convert to (e.g. EUR) in the second selector.
4. Type the amount you want to convert — the result and the live exchange rate appear instantly.
5. Tap the swap button to reverse the conversion and see the inverse rate.

Frequently asked questions

How current are the exchange rates?

Rates are fetched from live data sources and cached on your device for up to a few hours. The tool shows you the exact time the rates were last updated so you're never guessing.

Does it work offline?

Yes. The most recently fetched rates are cached locally, so you can still convert currencies without an active internet connection. The cache timestamp tells you how fresh the data is.

How many currencies are supported?
