Date Difference
WEBCount the days, weeks and months between any two dates.
What it does
Date Difference counts the exact gap between any two dates you choose — in days, weeks, and months — so you can plan projects, track deadlines, or satisfy curiosity in seconds. Pick a start date and an end date and Carbide does all the calendar math for you, including leap years. You get the total number of days, how many complete weeks that is, and the span expressed in months. Everything runs locally on your device: no internet connection needed, no account required, and your dates never leave the app. It is 100 % free. Whether you are counting days until an event, calculating how long a contract runs, or figuring out how long ago something happened, Date Difference gives you a precise, instant answer.

Frequently asked questions
- Does the tool count leap-year days correctly?
- Yes. Carbide uses full calendar-aware arithmetic, so February 29 and varying month lengths are handled accurately.
- What if my end date is earlier than my start date?
- The tool will still calculate the absolute difference and show a negative or reversed result. You can also tap the swap button to flip the two dates.
- Can I use this to count business days only?
- The current tool counts all calendar days. A business-days filter is not available yet — the result includes weekends and public holidays.
- Does it work offline?
- Yes, fully. No internet connection is needed at any point; all the math runs on your device.
